Healthy School Child Programme: e-Learning to Optimise Health
High-quality online medical course designed for healthcare professionals who care for children aged 5 to 12, including school nurses, GPs and trainee paediatricians.
The Healthy Child School Programme focuses on the role of the school-based team in assessing and supporting the health needs of children. It explores issues such as communicating with children and their families, common medical and development issues, as well as identifying and assisting those with additional needs. Interactive features, such as case studies and self-assessment questions, help to stimulate thinking and reinforce understanding on key themes.
This e-learning package is mapped to the UK Department of Health’s Healthy Child Programme, although the themes are applicable to healthcare professionals globally.
